diagnosis and treatment.
At Present some hospitals are
using more and ,,.more fltforeseent
lights since it itas'been proved that
these, help to reduce hydro costs.
Research has shoWn that you can
burn. a fluorescent light for foul'.
hours 'on the amount of (electricity
it takes to turn it back on:_ence it
has been -switched .off. •
Perhaps the greatest need for in-
tense light in hospital is the oper-,
ating room. Yet in many hospitals
the brightest bulb is .only 300-watts.
However, by the ingeniuS use of
special reflectors, "operating
room can be IllumMated better by
man-madd light than it dikt. bynat-
ural light, - -
and Siding are. on and bins are
now being" put in. When ebtnplet-
ed this mill will be one of the most
up-to-date in Western- Ontario.
