ing opened with singing hymn
"Oft in Danger". Miss Alice 'Dick-
son read Scripture'passages about:
the power .of the Holy Spirit. The
roll call was answered by naming
sisters of the Bible.
In a study of Elizabeth, mother
of John ,the Baptist, Mrs. E. Jef-
fray stressed the wonderful friend-
ship she shared` with Mary, the
Mother' of Jesus.
Mrs.. A. Mundell spoke briefly on
the group commitment plan, re-
porting on the'new work under-
taken during A 1956 and what is
planned for 1957. Miss H. Ballagh
invited the ladies to. hold the
March meeting in her home, Mrs.
R. Inglis summarized the Febru-
ary Glad: Tidings, with special em-
phasis on the'proposed projects
for the coming year.
The topic prepared by Mrs. H.
Ballagh consisted of a conference
in . Thailand where representatives
of Burma, Mrs. A. Mundell; Indo-
China, Mrs. W. Scott; 'Thailand,
