ice, offset by softly-draped tulle, and
the skirt flared softly from the waist-

roses and lily-of-the-valley.
As her sister's only attendant; Mrs.

a draped bodice, accented with wide
shirred straps, forming a back V and
topped with a jacket offset by dolman
sleeves, and a small collar, ending in
a wide tie. The ballerina skirt fell in
folds from the tucked hipline, and she
wore a matching taffeta bonnet. She
carried a bouquet of yellow roses and
lily-of-the-valley.

Junior farmers Give
Impromptu Speeches
"Why do Co-ops not have more
members or more business" was the
roll call answered by 20 members of
the North Huron Junior Farmers at
their meeting in the co-op rooms on
Thursday night last.
Impromptu speeches on "My Type
of Farming" lasting 5 minutes were
given by George Underwood, Murray
Bradburn, Maurice Hallahan and Jack
Currie. These were properly introduc-
ed by other directors.
The Belgrave Co-op have donated
$25 to the Belgrave Junior Farmers
for which we are very grateful.
Simon Hallahan, honorary presi-
dent, then summed up the meeting,
telling members the good and bad
points of the meeting.
"Colour of your Easter Bennett"
was the roll call of the girls meeting
which was held in the club rooms.
"The True Meaning of Easter" was
the subject of a talk given by Doro-
thy Pattison, county president of the
Junior Institute.
The boys then moved over to the
club rooms for the joint meeting
which opened with the Junior Farmers
song. There was a short business ses-
sion consisting -of making arrange-
ments for the program in Hensall, our
formal dance in Seaforth and the play
which the Junior Farmers are spon-
soring in Belgrave.
Jack Johnston then read a very
good club paper.
The meeting closed with the sing-
ing of "God Save the Queen" which
was followed by lunch and refresh-
ments.
