MORE RIGID STEEL MAKES EDGES SHARPER
EVERY BLADE GIVES MORE SHAVES!.
Canitdians are now making SILVER STAR, the
world's sharpest double-edge blade! It's made by the
Duridiutn process of more rigid steel than any other
leading double-edge blade. This means it can be
honed sharper, will stay sharper longer! Try it, you'll
think there's no blade in your razor. Yet even if you
rub your fingers against the grain, your Lace will feel
smoother, be fresher-looking. And y.Qu'll get more
shaves with every Duridhun blade!

was another baby turtle given to Mr.
Jackson and has become a, foster*
father to ten little ones,
One by one the eggs began to look
thin in one spot, and then a tiny claw
broke through, Finally after a few
hours or a day, a little turtle crawled
out. His shell was about the size of a
quarter. At fit* Junior was not sure
he liked his new charges, but after
finding that they didn't eat anything,
he decided they weren't top bad.
One day, however, Junior got'fed up.

far, though because Mr. Jackson soon
found him and put him back in hie
box.
The baby turtles walk well, and they
all manage to flop in. one side of the
dish of water, walk on bottom and
crawl out the other side, By the way,
this is not called swimming. The only
time these little fellows are helpless is
when they get rolled over on their
backs and can't get righted again.
They don't like to be poked at with
stipks either. They seem to be doing
very well on their formulas of spec-
ially prepared turtle food, but we can't
report any new teeth. Or do, turtles
have teeth?

Goderich vs Wingham
The Wingbarn, District High. School
gridelera added another' victory to their
list by taking a 6-2 decision from the
Goderich boys today. Goderich, who
haven't won a game yet, tried hard
but the Wingham team was not to be
denied,
Goderich elected to receive the open-
ing kickoff. They fumbled the ball
and the alert Wingham team recover-
ed. Wingham scored quickly after
driving deep into Goderich territory
with Ken. Grewar plunging over for
fiye points. The attempted convert
was partially blocked and the score
stayed 5-0 for Wingham.
The Godericii line started to hold
together better letting their back-
fielders carry the play very deep into
Wingham territory, but thanks to a
stout Wingham defense they could not
score. This is not the only time that
opposing teams. have been held back
on the very goal line by the purple
and white. Goderich . managed two
single points on kicks to the deadline

THIRD OF PAY'S NEEDS
1N SCHOOL LUNCH
As much care and planning should go
into the lunch youngsters take to
school as a mother puts into any meal
she serves on the dining room table,
contends Miss Margaret E. Smith,
director of nutrition for the Health
League of Canada. Furthermore, the
box lunch must have eye appeal as'
well as high food value.
"The noonday lunch should provide
one third of the whole day's require-
ments of the energy-producing, body-
building foods," notes Miss Smith.
"This means proteins, minerals and
vitamins for growth and repair of
body tissues; and carbonhydrates or
starches, fats and proteins to yield
energy for work. and play."
In ordinary grocery store parlance,
the nutritionist's suggestions boil
down to these, which are based on
Canada's Food Rules:
Include about eight ounces of pas-
teurized, white milk, varying this oc-
casionally with buttermilk or pure
fruit juices.
Use whole grain bread for sandwich-
es, and see that the fillings provide
proteins, meats, fish, cheese, eggs, or
cottage cheese (delicious mixed with
crushed pineapple.)
Put in at least one fresh vegetable,
raw carrot strips, celery, a whole tom-
ato, or a little salad made with cab-
bage,• parsley;, green peppers or cooked
green beans.
For dessert use fresh fruit in place
of sweets.

the boys from the lakeshore town,
Amway Scores If, A
The game got under way with Lott
making a 45 yard kick-off, On their
first three tries. Goderich made very
little gain, and a short kick• left Wing-
ham on possession on the GOderieh. 45;
After two unsuccessful tries, Wingham
made a short kick which was caught
and fumbled by Goderich's Barry Ate
tridge, Here Ken Grewar of the Mus-
tangs turned the tables and got the
Wingham ball rolling by recovering
on the Goderich 35. On the second
down Bud Lott took a pitch-out and
ran around his end for an easy first
down. Aided by a Goderich offside the
Mustang's moved right down to the
Goderich five, where Grewar took a
hand-off and crashed over for the
only major score of the game. Since
Lott's convert was blocked, the score
now read 'Wingham 5, Goderich 0. On
the kick-off Attridge again fumbled,
and Young of Wingham recovered on
the Goderich 45, but the Goderich
boys held them near centre for the
rest of the quarter.
Goderich Fights Back
In the second quarter Goderich be-
gan to click a little better, and started
off by making a powerful march deep
into the Mustang's territory, ending.
up on the Wingham 30. However the
Wingham line seemed to tighten up
when the chips were down, and the
Mustangs finally got into possession
again on the Wingham 30' yard line.
At this point Lott made a short kick
which put Goderich back in possess-
ion on the Wingham 35. However, af-
ter getting a 10 yard penalty the
Goderich boys lost possession. From
here till the end of the half the only
highlight of the game was a sparkling
45 yard run-back made by Goderich's
right half-back, Thompson.
Goderich Kicks 2 Pts.
At the beginning of the third quar-
ter Goderich made use of theire-long
stay in the Wingham end by Ricking
a rouge, for a single point. Now Wing-
ham started a strong drive out only
to be halted again on a blocked kick.
This time Goderich drove right down
to the Wingham five yard line, but
failed to get across in two tries as the
Mustang line again tightened up. On
their last down Goderich made their
second and a last score of the game
when Reise kicked for his second point
on a field 'goal attempt.
Lott Kicks Pt.
In the fourth quarter the Wingham
boys began to pick up, and after stag-
ing a long drive which put them on
the Goderich 20, Lott kicked for a
single, on a field goal attempt, to
make the final score, Wingham Mus-
tangs 6, Goderich 2.

You can't blame the little pig ow the, right for complaining. If
you received nothing but porridge three times a day you wouldn't
be very healthy, and you'd look enviously at a well fed friend who
was receiving a balanced meal:
Feeding your livestock chop and nothing but chop is the same as
eating porridge three times a day, every day. You balance your
diet with meat and vegetables. The "Meat and vegetables" for a

It requires so little SHUR-GAIN to make so much difference that
you can't afford not to feed it.
