Watt, and with Rev. and Mrs. George Watt, Dungannon and Rev. and Mrs. Robert Watt, Gorrie. Mr. and Mrs. George McGee and baby, Linda, visited on Sunday at the two children, also Mr. Robt. Straug- home of Mr. and Mrs, Alex Nethery han, all of Goderich, visited on Sun-of Blyth, 2f1 and with a good discussion in three groups on the subject, "Are Co- Op's. Socialistic?" All agreed that it took individual ownership, co-opera- tive ownership, private enterprise and government interest to make up a good working society in a, democratic" country. The many friends of the groom in this district extend best wishes for a long and happy wedded life. Honour Newlyweds The folks of S. S, No. 10, Kinloss, met last Friday evening at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Clarence McClena- ghan, to honour their newlywed nei- ghbours, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Simpson. The evening was spent in cards and games. After lunch, Mr. Donald Ross read a short address of welcome, and Clarence McClenaghan and Carl Mc- Clenaghan presented them with an end table and a novelty electric lamp. Mr. Simpson replied ,thanking them for their kindness and good neigh- bourly gesture. All enjoyed the social time together. Mr, Adam Robertson and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Robertson and Jimmie, of East Wawanosh visited on Sunday at the home of the former's daughter, Mrs. Dawson Craig, and with Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Forester of W. Wawanosh, Mr Nat Thomson was among those who got a deer early Monday morn- ing. Hunters by the carload were in Kinloss at daybreak. The Kinloss Council asked that no dogs be used during this week of hunting in this district. Mrs. Kilpatrick and Mr. and Mrs. John Mason, Lois and Julia, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mason of Listowel, aand all spent Monday at London. A few of the Jr. Farmers from here plan to take in the trip on the char- tered bus this Friday, to the Winter Fair in Toronto. DELMORE The induction of Rev, Matthew Bailie, as minister of Belmore and Bluevale congregations, will take place in the Presbyterian Church Bluevale, on Thursday evening, Nov- ember 22nd. Remembrance Day Mr. Falconer again occupied tile pulpit in the Presbyterian church here last Sunday and preached a Remem- brance Day sermon, The choir provid- ed special music. Entertains Choir Miss Marian MacDonald entertain- ed the Presbyterian church choir at her new home in Lueknow last Friday evening. Open Season This week will be an exciting and dangerous one in Bruce County with the open season for hunting deer. We never can understand why the farmer, on whose crops the deer feed year in and year out, has to have a license to Shoot one when an open season is declared. Last Wednesday evening was a busy occasion in Belmore when over 1000 people were served to a turkey dinner. Mr. F. Lasnley of the Pro- vincial Dept. of Agriculture came from Toronto to officially open the new Community Centre. John Hanna, M.L.A., introduced him.
