turned home last week from their
trip to Vancouver B,C. and their son,
who is an officer in the Air Force,
will be stationed at Centralia for the
next six months. His wife will also

Was held on Wednesday, August /O, at

siding and giving the call to worship

Currie introduced the special speak-
er Mrs. /3a.ulch of South Kinloss, who
spoke on, 'Parents' Responsibility to-
wards Their Children", stressing their
special responsibility to seeing they
attend church, Sunday School, YQ1Ang
People's meetings. Mrs, Fred New-
man moved a vote of appreciation,
and the roll call Was answered by a
Biblical verse containing the word,
"Wealth", Mrs. Jas. McInnis led in
prayer for the success of the mission-
ary workers and Mrs. Newman led in
the offertory prayer. Mrs, Johnston
Conn closed the meeting with prayer
and lunch was served. Mrs. Currie
moved a vote of thanks to the hostess,
and all enjoyed the social hour, Nine-
teen, ladies and six children were
present. The nextrneeting will be
held at the home of Mrs, W. J.
Coulter.

Nancy of London, spent the week-
end at the home of her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Chas. Martin.
Mrs. Wellings, Mr. Harry McClenag-
han, of Belgrave and Billie McCienag-
han of Toronto visited on Sunday at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
McClenaghan.
Mr. Roy McInnis of Toronto spent
the week-end with his wife and
family at their farm at Kinloss, and
all returned home on Sunday to
Toronto.

success with his new venture.

sons of Auburn, and his mother, Mrs.
Dennis of Blyth, spent Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Scholtz.
Mr. Melville Beecroft of Otterville,
spent last week at the home of his
brother, Mr. Gilbert Beecroft.
Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Farrier are
spending a few days this week at the
home of their son, Mr. Carman Far-
rier of Long Branch, and attending
the C.N.E. at Toronto.

the Presbyterian Church at Teeswat-
er, assisted Rev. R. D. A. Currie at

Mr. Currie bad been associated with
Rev, Hardwick, when the latter was
the Moderator in Saskatchewan and
Mr, Currie was on a mission field
there.
