is being married this month.

Miss Bessie Ross of Peterborough,
spent a few days last week with Miss
Nellie and Mr. John Doig.
Misses Margaret and Jean Ruther-
ford of Goderich, visited with Mrs.
Roy Rutherford last week and at-
tended Miss Mildred Ballagh's trous-
seau tea.
Her many friends regret the illness
of Mrs, J. Scott Inglis, who will be a
patient in Wingham Hospital for
some time.
Mr. and Mrs. Carter McKee of Galt,
attended the Bronson-Ballagh •wed-
ding on Saturday afternoon and spent
the week-end with his sister, Mrs.
George Lane.
Mrs. Stan Maekford and three sons
of Toronto, are visiting with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nickel.
Mr. Roy Dustow of Nobleton, spent
a week recently with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Herb Dustow.
Mr. W. J, Abraham of Kirkland
Lake, is visiting his brother, Mr. Thos
H, Abraham and Mrs. Abraham. Miss
Margaret Grant of Brussels is taking
art enforced two weeks' holiday at the
same home.

Mary and Nancy, have returned home
after a pleasant trip through North-
ern Ontario, visiting with Mr. Elliott's
uncle at Sault Ste. Marie.

morning at the home of her son, Ern-
est. Though Mrs. Wylie passed her
88th birthday recently she has been
quite active until her last illness,
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Aiken, Gloria
and Vera, of Kincardine, visited with
friends here on Sunday.
Mrs. Rowland Ballagh entertained
at a trousseau tea last Wednesday
afternoon and evening, in honor of her
daughter, Miss Mildred Ballagh, bride
of the week.
We congratulate Miss Mary Stokes
who attained her 88rd. birthday last
Sunday. Miss Stokes still delights in
doing a bit of work in her garden,
and we hope she will still he able to
do so for some time to come.
