Women's Institute "Memories of Our Grandparents" will be the roll call when the Wrox- eter Branch of the Women's Institute hold their June meeting. The meeting has been postponed one week owing to the district annual being held on June 6th., at Bluevale. Grandmothers will be special guests with Mrs. John Lane, Mrs. Wes Newton and Mrs. Lyle Brothers, the committee in charge. The planter is tractor drawn and digs a Currey/ in which the operator places trees every six feet. Bolce, of Chesley, is in the Kitchener hospital following an accident in which he received a ser- ious eye injury. Gerald and his brother, Paul, along with three other boys, had been play- ing along the railway track and bad lit a bonfire there. The boys found th'at empty shellac tins discarded by. the Chesley Mfg, Co., made excellent fire works when thrown into the fire. One of the tins hit Gerald in the eye. BELGRAVE Mr. and Mrs, Maurice Quigley of Toronto, visited recently at the home of Mrs. Co, G. Anderson, Mr. Quigley has a private pilot's license and dur- ing his visit here, flew a plane from Sky Harbour Airport, at Goclerich. Mr. Grant Rutherford of the Tor- onto City Police force, who at present is on vacation, also visited with his aunt, Mrs. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Walker of Goderich, were recent guests of Lew- is and Mrs. Stonehouse, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Jacklin and Caroline visited Friday with her par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cook. Few people are aware of the fact but when a 'ar is being towed it must have at least two connectors. The charge arose from a mishap in which the car in tow broke loose and struck a parked machine.
