Wingham, Ont. OLUEVALE Annual Meeting Knox The annual meeting of Knox Pres- byterian Congregation was held in the Sunday School room. The minister, Rev. C. H. MacDonald, D. D., called the meeting to order and led in prayer after the singing, of Psalm 68. Cloyne Higgins was appointed chairman and. Mrs, Eldred Nichol, secretary, in the absence of the secretary, Miss Olive Scott, a patient in Wingham Hospital `Regret was expressed at the absence of Miss Scott, NVIio had not titissed a meeting in twenty years. Reports of the various secretaries were read, each snowin g 19.5() had been a very pros- perous year. Three new managers were appointed; Robert McMuray, Gordon Mundell and Stanley Moffatt. Miss Scott was again appointed sec- retary-treasurer at an increased sal- ary, It was decided to give $100 to the re-building fund of Knox Church, Goderich, recently destroyed by fire. The chairman asked for a vote of thanks to all workers in the church. The visit of Rev. Mr. Simpson, Mr. Baulch and Mr. Thatreau for the pur- pose of cultivating mutual understand- ing throughout the Presbytery, was much enjoyed. Rev. Mr. Simpson pro- nounced the benediction. On Sunday morning in Knox Pres- byterian Church, Rev. Dr. C. H, Mac- Donald, the minister, presented Bibles to Douglas Thomas, Ian ,Mundell and Miss Norma Moffatt for perfect at- tendance at church services during the year. Bernard Lillow of London, visited his mother and brother over the week- end. The February meeting of the Wo- men's Institute will be hel& at the home of Airs. Al. L.
