Nearly 500 people toured the new barn of Ross and Ruth Veatch in Grey township on Friday and nearly 100
more on Saturday when guests from Garden City, Michigan were given a tour. It all made for a lot of extra
attention for the dairy cows although this one doesn't appear to know whether she appreciates it or not.

The $200,000 difference,
An answer to the stress
of RRSP investing,
That's the difference between an Industrial Growth Fund RRSP and
Guaranteed Investment Certificates over the past 13 years.
ThaCs right. based on maximum annual RRSP contributions. your
$78.000 investment in Industrial Growth Fund would have grown to
$41'.455 – $228.450 more than the same Investment in an RRSP
composed of 5 -year GICs.
Small wonder. Industrial Growth Fund's long-term record is
exceptional. Average annual compound rates of return: 1S years – IS%.
10 years – 14 S%. 3 tears – 21.3%. 1 tear – 20.3%.)
It's the direct result of the conservative. but growth -oriented money

Junior Farmers
help Heart Fund drive
The leadership of Youth is
exemplified in the work of the
Huron County Junior Farmers.
according to the Campaign Chair-
man for the Heart and Stroke
Foundation, Barney Goldsmith.
Despite the obstacles inherent in
co-ordinating and canvassing rural
areas in the winter, for several
years the Junior Farmer Clubs
have assumed this responsibility,
raising thousands of dollars iri the
Townships where they have been
traditionally active. The South
Huron Club is responsible for the
canvas in Usborne Township. The
Howick Club is working in Howick
and Turnberry Townships and the
West Huron Club co-ordinates the
canvas of Ashfield Township. In
addition, this year the Seaforth
Junior Farmers will be doing part
of Tuckersmith Township and the
Clinton Club will assist in the
Hullett Twp. canvas which is
co-ordinated by the Kinburn For -
resters.
For a number of years, another
youth group, the Grade XIII
students at Seaforth District High
School. have sponsored the Heart
Fund canvas in the Town of
Seaforth.
