The regular monthly meeting of the Women's Institute was held on Tues- day last in the Memorial Hall, with -the President, Mrs. Ernest Casemore, presiding. Miss Olive Trerriff gave a paper on Social Wel- fare, Miss Joan Casemore played a pia solo and Mrs. Albert Walters read a very interesting paper on the motto, The Government of the home has greater influence. on moulding a character than any other factor. Miss lean Gaunt played a piano solo, and Mrs. Fred Newman gave an interest- hag review of the work of the Travel- ling Library. Arrangements were wade for a picnic in Augst to be held at the home of Mrs. Jas. Falconer, and the meeting was closed by all singing the National Anthem. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Falconer spent the week-end at Kincardine. Mr. Robert Leaver returned home from Wingham General Hospital on Friday, and his father, Mr. Fred Leav- er of Toronto, spent the week-end at the home of Mr. Chas. Leaver. Mr. Donald Watt, interne at Wes- tern Hospital, Toronto, is spending his holidays with his parents, Rev. and Mrs. J, W. Watt. Miss Faye McClenaghan of London, is holidaying for two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben McCiena- ghan and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moss Benny and Donald, of Bright, spent the week-end there.
