EVENT IN THE WORLD
After a seven-year lapse the Royal
Military College of Kingston, Ont.,
and the United States Military Acad-
emy at West Point, .N.Y., resumed
their traditional hockey rivalry on Sat-
urday, March 12th, at West Point,
with the Caanadian cadets losing, 5-4,
in a fast and rugged game.'IJ was only
the third defeat the Royal Military
College has suffered since the series
with the West Points bgan in 1923.

play and .gentlemanly conduct on and
off the ice. For razor-keen rivalry,
nothing much could top it, but, and
here's the warning part of it, nothing
could top the friendly atmosphrere
and plain good sportmanship between
the two teams either.
Pairing off, the hockey team mem-
bers live, eat, sleep and have fun
with the fellow they'll cross sticks

ed a club. The three of clubs followed
and when the jack appeared the ne-

from dummy and West could not af-
ford to overtake with his ace.East had
only a diamond to return and the king
of diamonds and tea of spades won
the final two tricks, fulfilling the
slam contract.

last week attending 'the Fire Under-
writers' Convention.
