The hymn "Jesus, the very thought of Thee" was sung, followed by prayer by the Leader. Mrs. E. Whitfield gave the Scrip- ture reading from Matt. chap. 5, 1:12; chap. 12, 46:50. The hymn, "How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds" was sung and Mrs. G. Brown gave the Study Book, dealing with "pr. Stella Cheng", Principal of Hwa Yin School for Girls, . Mrs. E. Farrish led in prayer, The President then took chargeof the business. The singing of "Lord of Light, Whose Name Out- shineth" and the Mizpah benediction brought the meeting to a close. The hostess served lunch and a social half hour was enjoyed. Messrs. Harold Townsend, Shel- burne, and Allan Townsend, Strat- ford, are spending a few days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Townsend.
