Mrs. Robt. Ashton returned last
week from visiting her daughter, Mrs.
1Vm, Strangway at Sarnia.
On Tuesday evening, June 29th,
friends and neighbors gathered at the
home of Mr. john Cathers prior to
their moving to Gorrie, and presented
him with a lovely floor lamp, Kay
and Bobby received a set of boudoir
lamps. Mt. Thos, Earl, who has also
moved to Gorrie was the recipient of
a fine wrist watch the same evening. Mr and Mrs, .Mervyn Stephens and
family of Thorndale, are visiting with
relatives.

formerly of Wingham. Mrs. Davidson
was a resident of Fotdwich for' the
greater part of her life. Interment
