men's Institute Convention in Golerith
on Monday.
Carl Procter, Of the 4th line of Mo
ris, had a narrow escape when he was
attacked by a bull while bringing in
the cows..A three-year-old bull, quite
quiet, hitherto, charged him, throwing
hint in the air then roiling him along the
ground. Richard Procter, the neatest
neighbour, saw what happened and
quickly telephoned the victim's wife,
who dragged her husband to safety.
Mr. Procter is suffering from severe
bruises and shock.
Mr. George Martin had a barn
raisin g this week when ire built an
addition to his barn.
Mrs. James Michie of con.' 5, Mor-
ris township, is in Wingham Hospital,
with a badly broken hip, caused when
she fell as she was chasing some calves
from the barn. Alone on the farm at
the time, sire crawled to the house on
her hands and knees and Waited there
until callers found her. Mrs. Michie
is very active iri eiturth and W.M.S.
work, and her many friends regretilter
painful accident.
