Hall, on Thursday evening, to draw up
groupings in the baseball series of the
W.O.A.A. The association which is af-
filiated with the O.B.A. will use their

OBITUARY
Mrs. Colin Eadie
After a short illness, Mrs. Colin
Eadie, of Glenannan, died at the home
of her son-in-law, Mr. Charles Cath-
ers, Howick, on Sunday, May 2nd.
The former Amanda Louise Swit-
zer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Wrn. Switzer, was born 85 years ago
in Holyrood. 54 years ago she was
married to Cohn Eadie, who prede-
ceased her nine years ago.
She is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. Chas. (Arabella) Cathers, How-
ick Mrs, Eldon ;(Mary) Renwick, of
Howick; two sons, Wm. S: Eadie of
Holyrood and David M. Eadie of Glen-
annan. One son, Thomas, predeceased
her, There are eleven grandchildren
and two great grandchildren. She was
a Presbyterian by faith.
Funeral services were held from the
residence of her son-in-law, Charles
Cathers, Howick, on Tuesday, May 4,
at 2.30 p.m., with Rev. U. E. Cron-
hielm of Wroxeter, officiating, Inter-
ment was made in Wingham cemetery.
The pallbearers were Robert Aitken,
Thos, Metcalfe, Thos. Weir, John
Baird, Reuben Appleby and Samuel
Marshall.

Mrs. Alice Jane Roberts
After a brief 'illness, Mrs. Alice
Jane Roberts passed away at her home
in Toronto in her 85th year. She is
survived by her daughter, Lillian Scott
of Winnipeg and her son, Mr. Charles
A. Roberts of Wingliam. Funeral ser-
vice was held on Monday afternoon
from the Chapel of Turner & Porter
Funeral Home, with interment in
Park Lawn Cemetery.
John C. Casemore
After a lengthy illness, Mr. John
Casemore, .former Winghatn resident,
died in East Windsor Htispital, ott
Thursday, May 6th. He wt s in his 87th
year. Born in Dorking, he came to
Wingham front Morris Township in
1910, where he resided until 1946, He
was a member of St. Paul's Anglican
Chttrelt and He is survived by
one daughter, Mrs, Mabel Arnold of
Detroit, and two gtandchildren, Carl
and Pauline Clark. He was the last
of a family of 11. His wife, the former
Maude Godkin, predeceased him in
1915.
Funeral services were held oft 'Sohn.-
day, May 8th, at 2 p.m., from St. Paul's
Atglicait Church, with Rev. 0. E.
Lancaster officiating. The service was
under the auspices of the LOA.. In-
terment was made in Wittgltatu ceme-
tery.
