Change in Post Office Hours
Commencing Monday, May 3rd, the
Gorrie Post Office IA ill operate on a
44 hour week to conform with orders
from Ottawa, and in common with oth-
er Post Offices, the hours will be from
8.45 a.m, to 5.15 p.m. D,S.T. with an
hour's closing at noon. On Wednes-
day afternoon the office will be closed
as usual an hour after the arrival of
the train from the East.

spent 30 years in India as a mission-

ternoon in the Gorrie cemetery of Wm.
Dane of Toronto, with Rev. G. G.
Howse conducting the graveside ser-
vice. He was a son of the late Wm.
Dane, a former well known Gorrie mil-
ler, and left here over fifty years ago.
Rev. and Mrs. A. A. Lloyd of St.
Thomas, the latter a sister of the de-
ceased, attended the funeral and spent
the week-end with Mrs. Lloyd's cous-
in, Mr. Robt. Dane and Mrs. Dane,
