Brown continued the Advent
Series speaking on Isaiah'g
name for Jesus "Coun-
sellor", saying the world is
crying out for capable
counsellors from the Federal
Government right down to
you and I, in our daily lives.
Mr. Brown gave five
reasons why Jesus was such
a "Wonderful Counsellor".
As God's Son He is the
authority to speak for Him.
He has unlimited resources
and knowledge, He is
compassionate and will
minister to all our needs, He
was and is, always con-

present.

humorous vein, various
people, Clarence Carter who

Revival Centre
At the Revival Centre
Sunday morning Rick
Thornton showed the Junior
church a piggybank that had
money in it, then gave the
money away. He told them
when our lives have Jesus in
them, we can show the love
of Jesus to others.
Rev. Ray Brewster read
John 14 before he, Marlene
Thornton, and Lorraine
Armitage sang "The
Comforter Has Come,"
Rev. Brewster spoke from
Acts 1:8 saying we can be
effective Christians as we
will receive power after the
Holy Spirit comes upon us.
At the start of the evening
service Loys Melanson
played her guitar while she
sang "I'm Going Home".
Rev. Ray Brewster spoke
from Romans 10: 8-15 ,
stressing the importance of
missions. It is not difficult to
be saved, as the Scripture
says that all a person has to
do is call on Jesus and they
will be saved. As people in
foreign lands cannot be
saved unless they hear about
Jesus from a missionary,
someone has to be sent to
preach the gospel.
