c. water
1 c. cooked elbow macaroni
3/4 square margarine
bread crumbs (about 2 or 3 slices)
2 cans flaked tuna, or broken chunk
1 e, chicken or mushroom soup
1/2 c, milk
1 c, or more grated cheese
Boil water, add the noodles; cook at high about 8
minutes. If desired a little salt can be added before
cooking starts. Melt the butter or margarine,break the
bread into tiny crumbs, and put into margarine. Cook
at low a few minutes, When done, turn the heat off.
Grate about,] c, of cheese, and put on top of the tuna.
Put' the noodles on top of the cheese and add the
crumbs to the top. Bake at 350 for 1 hour

Meat-Crust Rice Pie
1 lb. ground beef •
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
11/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cans (71/2 oz.'each) tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 1/3 c. minute rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
4-6 tomato slices (optional)
Combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, 11/2
tsp. salt, oregano, pepper and 1/2 c. tomato sauce, mix
well. Pat meat mixture into bottom and sides of a
greased 9 " pie plate. Combine remaining tomato
sauce, water, rice /2 tsp. sat and 1/2 c. cheese. Spoon
into meat shell. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350
deg. for 25 minutes. Uncover; top with remaining
cheese and tomato slices. Bake uncovered 10-15 min.

Frankfurt Noodle Casserole
6 servings
1 (8 oz.) package noodles, cooked and drained
1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas, thawed
4 tbsp. margarine or butter
1'(10 oz.) package frozen spinach, cooked and drained
1 pound frankfurters, sliced
1 (101/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Combine noodles, 11/2 cups peas, and margarine, mix
lightly. Place spinach in bottom of buttered 21/2 qt.
casserole, Spread noodle mixture over spinach. Com-
bine frankfurters, soup, sour cream and milk. Mix
well, pour over noodles. Bake in a hot over (400
degrees) about 25 minutes. Sprinkle bacon and peas
over top, bake 5 minutes more.
