Hill, greetings by Stan Lee
and a short re-run of the
marriage ceremony of 1955
with all the wedding party
taking part.
John Brownlee acted as
Minister. Last, but not least,
The Five Star Steppers from
Alvinston, winners in the
step-dance competition at
Mitchell Fair Satur-
day,dropped in to entertain
the appreciative audience..
Although dancing was
limited for Barbara, who
just had a cast removed due
to a broken bone in her foot,
I'm sure Barbara and
Clarence will long
remember their 25th
wedding anniversary party
with pleasant memories.

It is with regret that the
Shipka grocery store closed
on August 30th, due to
economic factors. Store
operators, Tom and Jean•
Bradley will still be living in
our community.
Family back
from holiday

Mr, and Mrs. Gord
Slaght , Joanne and Jeff
have returned home from a
two week vacation in Nor-
thern Ontario. Their first
stop was Riverview Cottages
on Lake Nipissing for
fishing, boating and a fish
fry.
While there Joanne caught
the largest pickerel. From
Nipissing they travelled to
Cochrane to board the Polar
Bear Express. While on the
train they crossed the' Abitibi
Power Dam, At Mosonee
they boarded a cedar strip
boat to cross over to Moose
Factory Island.
On the way home they
stopped at Barrie to visit
friends and brought Cindy
Tokarz back for a few days.
Wednesday they took Cindy
to, Wallacetewn and picked
up Paula - Sitght for a few
holidays with her cousins
Jeff and Joanne.

that Marion Armstrong
attended the Green-Dudek
wedding. It should have been
Marion Mallard.
