Mrs. Lloyd Morgan. were pleasantly surprised when their family and, grandchildren gathered at their home, Sunday, August 24, to celebrate their 56th wedding, anniversary. A delicious dinner was served by the families making it a very happy occasion. Mrs. Lorne Hicks was a guest for a few days last week with. Mrs, Fred Pen- warden at her cottage at Grand Bend. Mrs. Donna Woods and daughter Cyndy from Flin Flon, Manitoba and Mr. Renato Maitelli, Italy, were guests last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hirtzel. Miss Dorcas Williams of Sarnia who is visiting with her sister and brother-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, attended the anniversary celebration. Mrs. Teresa Bedour, Goderich, spent the past few days visiting with her sister Mrs. V. Overholt and Pauline. Mrs. and Mrs. Fred Bowden joined their family for dinner Sunday evening at the Exeter Golf and Country Club in celebration of _the 25th wedding anniversary (August 27) of Donna and Ray Paynter. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Paynter, Kirkton, were guests at the dinner. Following the dance all were invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jaques and family,Granton, for a . social evening. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Westlake, Maplewoods. Apartments, Zurich, were Monday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bowden. The bigger a man's head gets, the easier it is to fill his shoes.
