Bob Roberts began his new duties the first Sunday in August. Born in Port Talbot, Wales, the Rev. Roberts studied theology in Wales at Swansea. He continued on in graduate studies at the University of Chicago in Illinois. In 1976 he came to Canada and for the past four years was minister at the Egmondville United Church, near Seaforth. prior to his coming to Ailsa Craig. He and his wife, Karen, are the parents for three children: Chad Peter, aged 7, Jeremy Kenneth, aged 6 and Tammy Elizabeth, aged- 4. An induction service has been planned for Sunday. Our host, Dr, Balsdon, .-conducted the lesson on the digestive system of the horse, We were then given a lesson, a more common ailment of the horses digestive system, its causes, effects and treatments for it. We were also shown the foreleg of a horse and taught the basic parts of it and some common ailments of it.
