welcomed everyone and
gave a reading "The Well of
St, Keen". Miss Cheryl
Stewart sang "The Rose"
accompanied by Miss Diane
Ballantyne.
A humorous skit was given
with Mrs. Floyd Stewart tak-
ing the part of Janice Alex-
ander the bride. Mrs. Gor-
don McCarter acting as

Mrs. Jack Stewart acting as
Craig Alexander, Mrs. Glen
Stewart acting as Lee

graduated July 24, from the
Diploma Nursing Program,
Conestoga College,
Kitchener. Frieda has
accepted a position in Prince
George Regional Hospital,
Prince George, B.C. Frieda is
a graduate of South Huron
District High SChool.

Open Church Service
About 75 people attended
the annual outdoor church
service Sunday morning at
Riverview Park, Exeter,
when both Elirriville and
Thames Road Congregations
met. Mr. Floyd Cooper took
charge of the service with
Mrs. Philip Johns leading in
the singing,
Pastor Ross Hargreaves
told the childrens story and
also the sermon "God's Con-
tinuing Enlightment, Mr.
Robert Flume led in prayer
and some of the elders
received the offering. The
service was closed with the
singing of Kum Ba Yah.
A delicious pot luck dinner
was then partaken of. The
young played ball, while the
adults just visited. This ser-

Mr. and Mrs. Harry
Mathers, Exeter, and Mr,
and Mrs. Mac Hodgert
travelled through Eastern
Ontario for a few days
recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin
Passmore accompanied
their daughter and son-in-
law Mr. and Mrs. Case de
Mooy, London on a trip out
west. They returned home
last Monday after having
been away over three weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. William
Rohde spend a few days last
week with Mr. and Mrs.
Russell Morley at their
trailer in Sauble Beach. Fri-
day they visited with Mr,
and Mrs. Ewart Pym in Sau-
ble Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. David Stead-
man and family spent Satur-
day evening and part of Sun-
day with Pastor Ross and
Mrs. Hargreaves. Mr. Stead-
man is a student.minister at
Millbank.
Mr. Dale Passmore, Mr.
and Mrs. David Passmore,
Tom and Jon attended the
Haist family picnic at
Canatara Park, Sarnia, Sun-
day.

Hopper-Hockey Funeral
Home, Exeter, over the
weekend to pay their respect
to the late Mrs. Reba
