exterior renovations and the
other two older residences
will be needed while interior
renovations are completed
within the next four years.
Then they may be torn down.
Jamieson said that in the
mean time these residences
can be used for the students
involyed in continuing
education. He said that this
program will be able to be
expanded and courses will be
able to run for two to three
consecutive days now that
these students can be offered
overnight accommodation
Currently there are ap-
proximately 1,500 students
enrolled in the continuing
education program.
The open house will, also
feature a new agricultural
mechanics building which
was just opened last Sep-
tember. Tours will be con-
ducted through the building
and displays will be set up.
The College also has a new
roadway off of Huron road 21
which is to be the main en-
trance. Now it is no longer
necessary to' entre the
college through the roadway
leading to the industrial
section of Huron Park.
On the same weekend as
the open house, the college
alumni are holding their
annual summer reunion.
This will include a baseball
game between the old-timers
and recent grads, swim-
ming, a picnic and a dance.

11 after he was found sleep-
ing behind the wheel of his
parked vehicle. A•
breathalizer test gave a
reading of 140 mgs. and the
court was told the accused
had red eyes. swayed when
walking and had an odor of
alcohol.
Michael Proctor, St.
Thomas. was fined $100 or 10
days on each of two charges
to which he pleaded guilty.
He had been charged with
failing to appear in court and
possession of marijuana on
October 15 of last year.
He was given- 30 days in
which to pay the total fine of
$200.
In the only other convic-
tion. Kenneth Denomme,
Zurich, was lined $100 or 10
days on a charge of posses-
sion of marijuana.-He was
charged on June 21 after
police found some of the nar-
cotic in his vehicle.
