We pledge never to per-
font an action today that
May be postponed until
tomorrow,
We solemnly pledge that
all decisions not Made within
the confines of our
o association shall be dutifully
deliberated and in-
congruously argued before
being tabled for further
discussion,
We vow never to let a
doubtless thought clear our
otherwise befuddled minds.
We pledge to bring to our
association a furrowed brew,
a bitten lip arid a perplexed
grin. Roll call at each
meeting will be answered
with `the most important
decision I haven't made in
my life.'
We shall nevei let the right
hand know what the left hand

to and is involved with an
organization called,. A
Witness to Israel's Rem-
nant. She has been working
among Jewish university
students in Canada and in.
the United States.
During the, meeting, Miss
Terrill related to the group
of 38 women her various en-
cdunters with Jewish people
and told of how she became
interested in her Work.
As a child, she lived in a
Jewish district of Toronto.
Sinceit is against the jewish
religion to work from sun-
down Friday to sundown
Saturday. she was hired by a
Jewish family to work in
their home during their Sab-
bath. "I began to talk and
act like they did," Miss
Terrill said.
She said that it was
several years later before
she became a Christian. "I
was lost. lonely, confused
and worldly before I became
a Christian," she said, When
she was a child she had often
heard Bible stories. "But no
one ever told me that I was a
sinner and that Jesus died
^for me."
She loved coloured people
and her first desire was to go
to Africa as a missionary.
But she felt that the Lord
*as leading her into a
ministry among the Jewish
people because her previous
experiences had helped her
to understand their culture.
She started her missionary
work 27 years ago in Mon-
treal. the Canadian city with
the highest population of
Jewish people. She said she
went door-to-door witness-
ing at, a time when it was
dangerous to do so. The
police were suspicious of
this activity and followed
her constantly; "You never
knew when you weregoing to
be picked up." Miss Terrill
said. She felt that previous
experience as a door-to-door
salesperson was part of
God's training.
Miss Terrill felt that she
had many very rewarding
experiences with her mis-
sionary work and challenged
the women to be Christian
witnesses not only among
Jewish people, but to
everyone.
