NO CHANGE
Exeter's social services
committee this week
recommended that no
change be made in the
current policy of not
providing public money to
charitable, organizations and
disaster funds,
The matter has been under
review by the committee for
several months and has
resulted in some discussion
at council sessions as well.
However, the committee
did recommend this week
that council donate $50 to the
new senior citizen group in
the community for
"organizational expense".
That was approved by
council.
