motorists appear to' be
improving with the spring
weather. Officers of the
Lucan detachment of the
Ontario Provincial Police
investigated only two ac-
cidents this week,
Thursday at 11:45 a.m. a
vehicle driven by Marien
Van Arenthals, RR 1, Lucan
struck a vehicle owned by
John Duizer, St. Marys while
Friday evening, Judi
Henry opened the Kid's
Koncert in Lucan Revival
Centre by leading chorus
singing.
Big Bruce (Bruce
Thomson), as the Emcee,
interviewed The Kids and
the puppets and in-
terchanging jokes. The Kid's
Chorus sang "Jesus is
Neat," as Big Bruce played
his guitar,
Jennifer Toews and
Elizabeth Ingham* sang a
duet, followed by the Kid's
Chorus. Big Bruce ac-
companied Mrs. Debbie
Periera as she sang "If That
Isn't Love."' The Helix
Express, Albert Pedde with
his brother, played a guitar
medley.
Big Bruce sang "I Feel
Free", then sang in french
"Hallelujah to the Lord." He
told the people the Kid's
Koncert was to help raise
money to buy needed chairs
and furniture for the
Children's Church, Several
of the boys took up the of-
fering, as Big Bruce and The
Kids sang the "Amen
Chorus."
Joan Lockyer played her
guitar as she sang "When He
Cornett)." hug Bruce in-
troduced the Animal Band,
puppets, who sang "We're
Going to see the King,"
followed by their sound ef-
fects before singing "Stand
up and Shout it."
Mrs. Bonnie Patterson and
Judi Henry led the Signing
Choir in sign language as
they sang "He's My Lord."
After the Koncert all went
downstairs where Bill
Cochrane and Joan .Lockyer
were presented with gifts of
a rocking chair and swag
lamp from the church, prior
to their marriage Saturday
