Anglican Church
news
The Anglican ladies held
their regular monthly
meeting in the Parish hall
with 14 members present.
Lillian Best, presided in
the absence of convener,
Thelma Brosseau, and
opened with prayers for
church workers.
The ladies were asked to
"Pot" their plant cuttings
for the greenery table for the
lawn sale to be held August
2nd.
There is to be a clean up at
the church on Tuesday May
6th, at 1 p.m. with men on the
outside on the lawn, and the
ladies inside in the kitchen.
Rev. G. Anderson showed
slide pictures of "Beautiful
flowers over the years,"
featuring English gardens,
Canadian gardens and his
own gardens in Thedford and
Exeter. Rev. Anderson was
thanked for his time and
presentation. Tea and cakes
were served for lunch.
