Kippen East Wonien's
Institute 'commenced their
annual meeting with a pot
luck dinner with lots of luck
in the pot, It was held at the
home of Grace Drummond in
Exeter, April 16.
Due to absence of the
president Mrs, Dave
Triebner, Mrs. Al Hoggarth
conducted the meeting. After
the delicious dinner, Mrs,
Hoggarth commented on the
motto - "If you wish to be
thinner, diminish your
dinner."
Mrs, Vera Alderdice gave
several humourous
readings, Mrs. Robert Bell
showed slides of the
proposed changes at
Vanastra to accommodate
the handicapped. Kippen
East decided to donate $100
to the project, also agreed to
serve a wedding lunch in
Hensall area in‘September.
Board meeting report was
given by Mrs. Al Hoggarth .
Plans were made for the

May 15 in Brucefield church.
