HOCKEY VIOLENCE — While there have been several comments that violence in hockey has diminished such was not the
case in the game between the Hensall Fund Raisers and Team 10 from CFPL Television Saturday. Restraining Morning Break
host Jim Swan from "going at it" with Fund Raiser Eric Luther (partially hidden) were Bevan Bonthron and Harold Knight.

Annexation
bid delayed
According to Hensall
clerk-treasurer Betty Oke
the village have not sub-
mitted their plans for annex-
ation to the Ontario
Municipal Board.
At the December meeting
of Hensall council it had
been indicated that the plans
for annexation would be
submitted to the board .
sometime in January.
Oke said there had been no
specific reason for the
delay but added that the
stand by the Huron county
board of education on the
busing of students of the
proposed '.annexed area
might have contributed to
the delay.
The four families in the
area who voiced opposition
to the plan have not
withdrawn their objections
to the plan nor have they
been asked to withdraw their
objections by the village,
Oke said.
