macrame and the equip-
ment needed for macrame.
Cheryl Stewart talked
about synthetic material
and some things that could
be made. Members filled out
a chart of "My Room as it is
now" and "My room as I
would like it to be." They
were to pretend they won
$2,000 in a lottery, and read
the chart to other members.

The Ladies Guild of St.
Marys Church met at the
home of Mrs. Irene Scott
Wednesday evening for the
February meeting. The roll
call was answered with a
Bible verse containing the
word heart. Hostesses were
Mrs. Jim Wright, Mrs. Alan
Wright and Mrs. Irene Scott.
Dianne Corbett is working
for the Ministry of Natural
Resources in Minden.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schenk,
Crediton visited Friday
afternoon with Mrs. Violet
Allison and Kathleen
Morley.
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Ger-
ber's baby returned home
from the hospital at the end
of the week.
• David Grundy had the
misfortune to fall and break
his leg in two places and
Mrs. Alvin Faulder ac-
cidently fell and broke her
left arm last.week. We wish
them both a speedy reocery.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey
Morley visited Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. Neil Campbell,

U.C.W. meets
The Brinsley U.C.W. held
their February meeting
Thursday evening at the
home of Mrs. Jack Hodgson.
Mrs. Hodgson opened the
meeting with the 145 Psalm.
Opening hymn "Praise ye
the Lord" was sung followed
by the Lord's Prayer in
unison. Scripture was given
by Viola Lewis, Mrs. Wilbert
Lewis a reading on "To be a
christian in Japan," and
Mrs. Hodgson a reading on
"Impression on Japan,"
Hymn "The church is where
ever God's people". Mrs.
Ruth Whiting showed pic-
tures of Dr, Allen Knight's
work in Ziare. Mrs. George
Lee gave a reading on "If
God went on strike." Mrs.
Hodgson took charge of the
business. 9 members an-
swered the roll call with 1
visitor present. Closing
hymn "0 God of Bethel"
followed by prayer by Mrs.
Hodgson. Group 2 ladies
served lunch.
A euchre party was held
Friday evening at the school
with 10 tables playing. Prize
winners were `as follows:
