STAFFA
The Staffa Women's
Institute held a euchre party
Dear Sir,
It was enlightning to read
an article in the London Free
Press (Feb. 11) concerning
an issue that affected the
Huron-Bruce riding.
Whereas the Liberal
candidate had been twice
quoted as saying that
Champion Road Machinery
of Goderich had been ad-
versely affected by Prime
Minister Clark's contention
to move the Israeli embassy,
it was revealed in the article
that there was no truth to
those statements.
According to Bruce Sully,
president of Champion
Roads, the firm is "very
healthy", and that the
suggested embassy move did
not affect grader sales.
This being an election
issue that is close to home I
felt it was important enough
to bring it to the attention of
your readers. '
Yours truly,
H.E. Heywood.
He hopes his old friends
won't forget him, now, and
will still drop in for a chat.
