Mrs. Gerald Glenn conducted the worship service "Let's Face Our- selves" assisted by Mrs. J.Upshall, Mrs. Dick Taylor, Mrs. Kerslake and Mrs. R. Riley. The-roll call was answered by fifteen members con- tinuousVireading the second chapter of Mark. A letter of thanks Was read for support at Camp Menestung. It was announced the World Day of Prayer service will be held at Hensall United Church March 7th at 2:30. Seven members at- tended the Huron Presbyterial held at Goderich. Mrs. Harold Parker thanked all who supported her during the past year as President of the Huron-Perth Presbyterial. Mrs. Dorothy Brintnell gave an interesting message on the study of Japan. Mrs. D. Kerslake entertained with a delightful musical melody at the piano. The President thanked everyone who made this such an enjoyable meeting. The March meeting was reviewed and close with the Lord's Prayer. Mrs. Simpson passes Mrs. Sara J.D. (McCloy) Simpson passed away at South Huron Hospital, Exeter onFebruary 7, 1980 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Simpson Dear mother of Mrs. David (Janeth) Sangster of Hen- sall; Loving Dadie of Gail, Pamela, Robbi, and Elizabeth of Hensall; and Mrs. Terry (Sheila) Davenport; Toronto, great grandmother of Stacey. Rtheral service was held from the R.S. Box Funeral Home, Seaforth Monday February 11th 1980 with Rev. T.E. Duke officiating. Interment in BOrd's Cemetery. The late Mrs. Simpson was a school-teacher, a member of the Huron County Historical Society, Women's Institute and other organizations. Hensa II 4-H The second meeting of Hensall 1 4-H"Your Corner of the World" was held on February 5th at the Hensall United Church. The Meeting was opened with the 4-H pledge and roll call with all members present. This meeting was focused on macrame and the different types of knots involved with it. The leaders demonstrated these types of knots and then each member tied them for herself The discussion was based on your idea of the perfect bedroom and what you would like in it. The meeting adjourned with the next meeting being set for February 12th at Hensall United Church at 7:00 p.m. Hensall United Church Rev. T. Garnett Husser guest minister at Hensall United Church deliverd an inspiring message on "Let's Play God" Mrs. Marguerite McLeod of Exeter was guest soloist singing "May The Good Lord Bless You". Carmel Church Rev. A.C. Young of Goderich conducted service in Carmel Presbyterian Church on Sunday in the absence of the Rev. Kenneth Knight who is in Montreal. Mrs. Taylor presided at the organ. Ladies meet at Carmel The president Mrs. Harvey Hyde presided for the Meeting of the W.M.S. of Cannel Presbyterian Church on Monday and opened the meeting with a Meditation "What colour Is God's Skin?" Mrs. Bert Thomson was in charge of the Devotional, and opened with a reading entitled "A Smile" Mrs. Robert. Bell gave a reading "Spending Your Day The Happiest Way" , Following the singing the Hymn "I Need Thee Every Hour" Mrs. Rochus Fabet led in Prayer. Mrs. Jean Snell read a passage of Scripture, The topic "Take Your Time" was given by 'Mrs. Thomson and was most interesting. During the topic several scripture passages were read by Mrs. Al Hoggarth, A. poem "When I Have Time" was read by Mrs. Thomson followed by, a . reading "Actions Speak Louder Than Words" by Mrs. Hyde. After singing "When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder" Mrs. Lloyd Mousseau gave a reading "Is Yours a House or La Home?" Mrs. Thomson concluded the, devotional with messages" "Has Someone Seen Christ In You To-day?" and "A thought For To-day and All Our Days" and prayer. Mrs. Hyde presided for the business -/The World Day of Prayer will be held in Hensall United Church March 7th at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Robert Taylor and Mrs. Lloyd Mousseau volunteered to visit .during the next month The W.M.S. will 'observe their 90th an- niversary this year and the Arnold Circle Evening Auxiliary will observe their 50th anniversary - it was decided to unite the an- niversaries. The March meeting will be held March 3rd with Mrs. Esther Wright presiding and Mrs. Rochus Faber in charge of the program. Mrs. Hyde gave a, message "For To-day and Yesterday" followed by the Lord's Prayer. Ladies' Aid The President Mrs. Al Hoggarth presided for the ladies aid meeting with the assisting Secretary Mrs, Ruby Bell. Mrs. Hoggarth read several messages and led in prayer. Thank you notes were read from Mrs. Knight and Mrs. Stretton. The Treasurer, Mrs. Hyde, gave a very gratifying report. Mrs. Robert Bell gave a detailed report for the cards and treats sent to sick and-shut-ins. Mrs. Ruby Bell gave the report of the kit- chen committee.Decoration to the school-room was discussed and was to be taken up with the managers. Mrs. Ruby Bell reported for the quilting committee stating the quilt was com- pleted and delivered. The group leaders presented their report on catering and discussion followed. The meeting concluded with Prayer by Mrs. Hoggarth and the Benediction.
