want Quebec to remain
within the nation.
Over hall' of the local
citizens who .received the
"people petition" for
Canadian unity in their
January bills from the
Exeter PUC have returned
those signed petitions,
The program is being
sponsored by the Ontario
.Mayor's Committee for
Canadian Unity.
PUC manager Hugh Davis
said 1,237 bills were sent out
with the petition enclosures
and the balance of the local
customers will receive their
copy in next month's billing.
The petition was inserted
in the billing by the London
'PUC, whose computer
handles the local billing.
The local manager said the
Commission would have to
decide if they would send
along a donation of $7,35 per
thousand as requested by the
Canadian Federation for
