Kyle. the out- going president thanked everyone for the co- operation she had received during her term of office. Mrs. Keith Lovell gave courtesy remarks. Mrs. John Cooper and Mrs. John Anderson were hostesses of the evening. During the program Heather McLean con- tributed a poem she had composed. Mrs. Edison McLean and daughter Heather gave an amusing and worthwhile skit on the "busyness" of Christmas, The devotion was a beautifule candle-lighting ser vice conducted by Mrs. David Turner. Carmel ladies meet Members of the Mount Carmel CWL held a recent meeting at the House of Ceramic's, Dashwood for a tour and explanation of ceramics, then on to the Mt. Carmel School gym for their meeting, A new member, Kim McCann was welcomed to the C.W.L. meeting. December 5, the Mt. Carmel C.W.L. meet at ARC Industries, Dashwood for their monthly meeting, with 40 ladies attending. After a tour of ARC a luncheon was enjoyed and the meeting followed in the cafeteria.
