A rivalry between three
former Exeter minor hockey
players will continue this
week as the St. Marys
Lincolns and Strathroy
Blades meet in a weekend
junior 'B' series,
Dave Bogart is a member
of the Strathroy team while
Exeter's minor hockey
teams had their worst week
of the current Shamrock
schedule, as none of the
teams could muster a win or
even a tie,
Two of the teams dropped
a pair each, while three
others suffered a single
defeat.
The Exeter midgets were
surprised by a new entry
from Mt. Brydges in the
Shamrock loop and dropped
a 9-4 verdict at the rec.
centre, Wednesday.
The visitors scored five
unanswered goals in the first
period and never looked
back as the locals couldn't
muster much of an offence or
defence.

the chin twice this weekend
suffering a pair of shutout
losses to St. Marys and
London Minor.
St. Marys trimmed the
Exeter crew 9-0 on Saturday
and London turned in a 6-0
win at the rec centre, Sun-

remained winless after two
more losses this week. On
Saturday they were drubbed
12-2 by St. Marys and then
came home on Sunday to
take a 6-1 loss at the hands of
Lucan.
The locals skated well for
the first two periods in the
stone town as they trailed by
only a 4-2 count entering the
third. However, St. Marys
rattled eight shots past the
Exeter goal line in that
stanza.
David Josephson and Doug
Clark scored for Exeter with
the assists going to Jason
McFalls, Clark and
Josephson.
The third period was too
much for Exeter again on
Sunday as Lucan broke up a
close battle with four
unanswered tallies in the
the Opti-Mrs. and by the
families who are less for-
tunate than ourselves.
