taken by Helen Brown and
Wesley Stanley and to
commemorate Canada's
Birthday, the congregation
sang "0 Canada" following
the Doxology.

organist, playing the chimes
during the prelude and also
accompanying his mother,
Mrs. Tom Barr, as she sang
the lovely solo "Because He
Lives." Mrs. Dale Froats
sang an equally beautiful
solo "A Disciple Named
Peter."
Speaking from II Peter
Chapter 1, Mr. Stanley said
that Peter called himself a
bond servant or a slave to
God. As Christians we belong
to God, just as a slave
belonged to his master and
God has power of life and
death over us, the same as
the master over his slave.
We must spend all our time
in the service of the Lord, as
a slave spent his time for his
master said Mr. Stanley.
We should rejoice in our
times of trial because it is
then that we become more
patient, more faithful and
more trusting in our Lord.
'All of God's promises are
ours as "whosoever" means
everyone. We are invited to
"choose" to do the will of
God.
Just as Christ does His
part for us, we must do qurs
and if we follow His
