blowing snow. As I look out mywindow I can’t see the trees 10 feetfrom the house. I think it is a goodidea to stay inside and keep warm.BLYTH UNITED CHURCHGreeting at Blyth United Churchon Sunday, Dec. 2 were BarbRichmond and Doug Howson.Ushering were Brenda Brooks,Nicole Kerr. Guest organist was

Free wireless internet access is
now available at all 12 branches of
the Huron County Library.
With funding provided by
Industry Canada’s Community
Access Program the wireless
internet access will enable more
computer use within the branches
by helping to decrease the
demand on the Library’s
public access computers when
computer users bring in their own
computers.
The wireless internet access
capability will also fulfill some of
the goals of the Community Access
Program, which are to provide
affordable internet access to all
community members, to supply
instruction on assistive technology,
to provide access to government
information as well as encouraging
library patrons and visitors to
become comfortable with the
internet with the familiarity of using
their own laptop computers.
People can bring in their own
wireless connectivity compatible
laptop computers to any of the
library branches to access the free
wireless internet and begin surfing
the net right away.
Users get access to the internet as
well as Huron County Library’s on-
line catalogue or any number of the
electronic resources that the county
library offers.
“Huron County Library is pleased
to offer wireless Internet access to
the whole of the County. We expect
the use of the wireless access to be
popular with visitors to Huron
County as well as our community
members,” said Shannon Kammerer,
information services co-ordinator
with the Huron County Library.
“Having wireless internet access in
all our branches has been a goal of
Huron County Library’s since the
implementation of this service in
three of our branches earlier in the
year.”
Huron residents who do not have
wireless internet compatible
computers will still be able to access
all the online content that county
library provides by visiting their
local branch and using the
public access computers available
there.
