Livestock for the week ending Nov.
23 were 2,917 head of cattle, 296
lambs and goats.
On Tuesday the fed steers sold $1
to $2 higher and heifers sold $3 to
$4 higher. Choice steers and heifers
sold $75 to $78 with sales to
$85.75. Second cut sold $73 to $75.
Cows sold steady.
On Thursday veal sold on a
stronger market with a good active
trade. Lambs and heavy lambs sold
on a stronger market. Sheep sold on
a steady market and goats sold on a
good market.
On Friday calves sold $2 higher
and yearlings sold $1 to $2 higher
on an active trade.
There were 440 steers on offer.
