Congrats Jeff Newell was the recipient of the Brussels, Morris and Grey recreation committee civic service award for his leadership in creating a new flower garden and path in the conservation area. In his absence, the award was accepted by Optimist Club member Gerry Wheeler, centre. The project helped beautify Brussels and made the dam a safer place to stroll. TenPas was honoured for his dedication to beautifying Brussels main street. TenPas built flower boxes, collected money and arranged for plaques to be mounted on each in consideration for the monetary donation.
