OPEN HOUSES ~ SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20
11 am to 1 pm
It’s a time for the girls, an
opportunity to socialize and shop in
a relaxing environment, while
benefitting two worthy causes.
A Ladies’ Night Out is being held
at Sacred Heart Church hall in
Wingham on Oct. 25 from 6:30-9:30
p.m.
Organizer Janny Fear said the idea
was to discover “what’s available in
the community. It will be a fun
evening with lots of vendors and
door prizes.”
It was an idea that started small
then began to take shape as they
discovered there were a lot of people
who were operating small
businesses. There are now 20
vendors taking part, including two
from Blyth.
“Our hall will be full,” said Fear.
Admission to the event is by
donation to the food bank. Table
rental fees, after expenses, are being
donated to Community Living.
There will be refreshments and in
addition to door prizes, the first
guests will received gift bags,
created by the vendors.
“We are hoping for a night that
will have people coming out too
mingle without any pressure. It will
just be a fun evening.”
