It appeared on paper that Team Left was stronger but when the battle of drives and putts was finished after 18 holes it was Team Right that came out on top winning 14 1/2 points to nine and a half points. Sadly Team Left had to surrender the Lefty Righty Ryder Cup which they had held for three years. In the absence of of righty captain, golf operations manager Dave Meriam presented the lefty righty cup to Bill Johnston, a member of Team Right. Other members of the winning team were Ed Daer, Keith Cameron, Don Edgar, Kent McPherson, Bill Robin- son, Doug Neil, Dan Mc- Burney, Doug Vander- Woude, Gerry Edwards, Dennis Knox, Bill Kerr, Carl Good, Jim Ross, Paul Elgie and Wayne Gordon.
