Livestock for the week ending
March 2 were 2,137 head of cattle,
248 lambs and goats. On Tuesday
the fed steers and heifers sold $1
higher. The choice steers and heifers
sold $97 to $100 with sales to $109.
Second cut sold $92 to $95. Cows
sold $2 higher. On Thursday veal
sold on a steady, active market.
Lambs and sheep sold on a steady
market. There were too few goats to
establish a market. On Friday calves
and yearlings sold on a steady
market.
There were 518 steers on offer.
