St. Marie, and,with other E, Wawanosh relatives. Mr, Archie Purdon started to work with Mr, 5. G, Gillespie's gang on the road on Monday. Mrs. Kernahan who has spent the past few months at the home of her brother,Mr. J, B. Morrison, and her sister, rs. Reuben Tiffin, and other relatives, left on Tuesday for her home in Vancouver, , Mr. Walter James had the telephone installed in his home last week. Mr. and Mrs. John Hayes of Detroit, spent a few days over the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Tiffin. and other relatives in Kinloss. Miss Mildred McClenaghan visited for a 'few days last week with Miss Edith McClenaghan of Belgrave, and is now nursing in Wingham Hospital. Mr. John Johnston, Mrs. ,Cecil Chamney and Mr. Gershom Johnston motored to London on Saturday and Mrs. Johnston, who has been in Victor- ia Hospital there, for the past two weeks returned home with them to her sister's, Miss Martha Casemore in Wingham. Mr. and. Mrs. Charles Wood of Sea- forth, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rob- inson, and son, Jimmie, of Donnybrook, visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gershom Johnston over the week-end. Mrs. Galbraith of Detroit spent a few.days last week at the home of her father, Mr. John T. Currie, who suffer- ed another slight stroke on Saturday, and who has been under the Doctor's care. Mr.. and Mrs. Elgin Currie of Islington also visited there during the week-end, The East Wawanosh Federation of Agriculture held their Annual meeting and Banquet on Wednesday evening last, in the Memorial Hall here, when the Institute Ladies catered to one hundred and seventy ,guests.
