The Sixth Line Forum met at the
home of Ivan Wightman with 17 pre-
sent. There was a specially good dis-
cussion on .the "Risk in Agriculture
They thought the Government could
help by establishing floor prices and
making inspection of live stock com-
pulsory. The next 'meeting will be
held on January 13th., at the home of

• Mrs, Mary J. Knowlson
The death occurred at her home
here on Saturday of Mrs. Mary J.
Knowlson, widow of the late Wan, G,
Knowlson, in her 88rel. year, after a
prolonged illness. She was a daughter
of the late David Taylor of the 9th
concession of Howick. She was born
in Waterloo County. She had been a
resident of Gerrie for meny . years.
"BOYS RANCH"
the Gorrie Hockey boys were winners
over the lielgrave team, score 7-8, in
a game played in the rink here, Later
in the evening a successful dance was
held by the Gorrie Hockey Club with
music bye the Happy Gang. An ,ex-
hibition game was also played here last
week between Atwood .and Gorrie with
a score of 7-4 in favour of Atwood.

Funeral services for Miss Young, a
former resident of Wroxeter, was held
from M. D. Irwin's Funeral Home on
Saturday afternoon to Wroxeter Ceme-

Miss Shirley Shera had the misfor-
tune to have her ankle sprained. We
wish her a speedy recovery.
