supper in the school room on Friday

ers: Games were played and a social

Addley Vanner
In a setting of fall, flowers and
candelabra at Christ Church, London,
recently, Mary Frances Helen,
youngest daughter of 'Mr. and Mrs,
Frank Vannes, was united in marriage
to Wallis Edwin Addley, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Stewart Addley. Rev. Dr,
R. P. D. Hurford performed the double
ring ceremony. Miss Helen Thorburn,
of Kincardine, was organist.
Entering the church on the arm of
her father, the bride wore a gown of
white flowered lace over taffeta,. styled
with a long torso, a net yoke, and a
graceful . skirt extending to a . slight
train. A halo- of flowers held her fin-
gertip veil, She tarried roses in pink
and cream shades.
As maid of honor; Miss Connie Add-
icy, gown of pink net over taf-
feta, and Miss, Betty Parker; as brides-
maid, wore blue flowered silk net over
taffeta. Each' attendant carried a dot-
onial bouquet in pink tones.

Addley, brother of the groom, and
Carl Vanner, brother of the bride.

E. Harris at Brownsville. They were
accompanied by Mrs, I. J. Gamble and
Mr. John Gamble of Fordwich. ••
Rev. J. L. and Mrs. Foster left on
Monday for' London where on the ad-
vice of his physician, Dr. R, B. Palmer,
Mr. Foster will seek the advice of a
specialist, about two weeks ago a blood
vessel burst behind the eye. The con-
dition hasoot improved as quickly as
was hoped for. The many friends of
Mr. Foster wish for a speedy and dom-
plete recovery.

to Sgt. David Roger in honour of his

'hold a weekly Thursday night party
for the patients of Lynhurst Lodge„
