In the chapel of Deer Park United
Church, on September 20th., Dr. Stan-
ley Russell officiated at the marriage
of Anna Dorine Webster, Toronto,
daughter of Mrs. Webster and the late
John Webster, Lucknow, to William
Wilfred Monney, Pickering, son of
Mrs. Monney and the late William
Monney, John J. Weatherseed was at
the organ, and T. Emerson sang "The
Lord's Prayer" and "Still is the
night".
Given in marriage by Edward H.
Smith, the bride wore a royal . blue
dressmaker suit with matching acces-
sories and a corsage of pink roses.

OBITUARY
William Wellington .111ann
William Wellington Mann passed
away on Sunday evening, October 6th.,
at the home of his son, LeRoy, at
Bluevale, in his 84th year, after several
months of failing health,
Mr. Mann was born in Elma Town-
ship, near Listowel, where he attended
ed public school and where lie spent
the greater part of his life farming,
he retired 13 years ago to live in Blue-
vale.
In 1881 he joined the L.O.L. in
Trowbridge, He was also a member
of the Methodist Church in that vil-
lage..
He was married on October 17th.,
1888, to Miss Priscilla Watson, of Us-
towel who survives. He is also ur-
vived by four daughters and five sons,
Mrs, C. E. Johnston, (Carnien), Lis-
towel; Mrs.I Fred Hallenbeck, (Hazel),
of Stratford; Mrs. S. F. Ralph, (Aud-
rey), Detroit; and Mrs. R. Aldrich,
(Gertrude), of Fordwich; William
Clinton, Elma Township; W. Sheldon,
Howiek Township; LeRoy, Bluevale;
Russell and Lambert, of Stratford. He
is also survived by one brother, J, G.
Mann of Listowel and thirty-five
grand children, one son, Sherwood,
predeceased him.
The funeral was held on Tuesday
afternoon at 2.30 o'clock from his late
residence here, conducted by Rev. Ar-

was administered in the Westfield Un-
ited Church on Sunday. There will be
no service in the Westfield Church on

nybrook Anniversary.

The home of Mr. and Mr, Henry
Johann of Belmore, attractively decor-
ated with fall flowers and ferns was
the setting on Saturday, October 6th.,
for the marriage of their daughter,
Jessie Edna, to Joseph Ross ilvIcKague,
of Teeswater, son of Mrs. McKague
and the late Andrew McKague of
Teeswater. Rev. L. C. Jorgenson pei-
formed the double ring ceremony, arid
Miss Lillian Darling played the wed-
ding music.
The bride, given in marriage by her
fathar was lovely in a floor length
gown of white satin, with fitted bodice,
lace yoke and full overskirt of net with
lace insertion: Her headdress was
Queen Anne style with finger tip veil
and she carried a bouquet of red roses
and bouvardia.
Miss Mae Johann, sister of the bride,
as maid of honour wore a floor length
gown of blue taffeta, feather tip head-
dress with shoulder length veil and
carried pink roses. Miss Jean Mc-
Kague, sister of the groom, as brides-
maid, chose a similar costume in yellow
taffeta, and a bouquet of talisman ros-
es completed her costume.. The flower
girl, Betty MacDonald of Teeswater,
was charming in a floor length gown
of blue organdy with matching bonnet.
Her nosegay was of white asters and
pink roses. 0
Mr, Kenneth McKague of Teeswat-
er, was his brother's groomsnian and
Allan MacDonald, the ringbearer.
Following the ceremony a reception
was held at Pleasant ' Valley, where
the bride's mother received the guests,
in a brown fall costume with match-
ing accessories and a corsage at talis-
man roses. Assisting her was the
groom's mother, who chose black'with
matching accessories and red roses.
For the wedding trip to Montreal,•
the bride -donned a suit of dove 'grey
with black accessories and a corsage
of red roses. On their return they will
reside at Belmore.
