Short. • A number from here attended the Strong re-union picnic which was held in Hanover on Saturday. We are sorry to report the serious illness of Mr. Geo. Foster Mr. and Mrs. Milton Operthauser and children of Elmira, and Mrs. Gordon Jefferson of Owen Sound, were here over the week-end, Mrs. Operthauser is re- maining for a time with her parents. Mr. Percy Sparling of Sault Ste. Ma- rie, spent the holiday week-end with his father, Mr. John Sparling and bro- ther, Mr. Everett Sparling and Mrs. Sparling. ' A number from here attended the Cathers reunion picnic at Listowel On. Saturday. We are pleased to welcome Mrs.. (Rev.) J. C, Caley and David, who ar- rived in Gorrie on Wednesday evening last.
