the success of anniversary services

the importance and necessity of being
re-born and if a nation and A church
is to be re-born, it must start with the
individual being born again. In the.
evening he spoke from Acts 14:27 out-
lining the result of Paul's Missionary
Journey and how he faced the Chall-
enge with Courage, Faith and Love, an
example for people of the present age
to follow.
Special music was rendered by the
choir. Miss Marjorie Sewers arid her
brother of Wingham, sang two duets at
the evening service. Peonies and pyre-

formed the decorations.
While here Rev. J. R. Greig, Mrs.

NEWSCHOOL AREAS
DECISION DEFERRED
The hot question of enlarged high
school districts in Bruce County was
given a year's hoist when the eonsulta-
tire committee on high school districts,
headed by Reeve Gordon D. White, of
Lion's Head, presented. its report to
County Council with the recomm.enda-
tion that formation of three districts
be studied. He suggested one district,
taking in sections of Bruce and Grey
Counties be formed if the municipal-
ities wish..
Reeve W. S. Fenton of Port Elgin,
and Reeve W. G, Durst of Chesley,
each !urged no action on the formations.
until there has been opportunity to
study the proposals, the former claim-
ing municipalities should be come part
of a section on their own will and not
with Pressure.
The committee had suggested four
districts described as Bruce, Grey,
Centre Bruce, Southwest Bruce and
North Bruce, with Wingham district
td be included in the Huron County
set-up,
