C. G. I. T. Help Library
The congratulations of the Library
Board and every citizen in the com-
munity to the members of the Cana-
dian Girls in Training, their leaders
and who are making the local Library
their project for this year. So far.
they have contributed $15.00 'to pur-
chase new books. Owing to illness of
the librarian and assistant, the usual
open hours were somewhat interrupted
during the winter season, and it is the
wish of the librarian, Mrs. A. J. Sand-
erson, who through illness is unable
to continue, that a new librarian be
appointed. Members of the Library
Board for 1944 are as follows; Rev.
J. L. Foster, G. A. Wearring, A. Mun-
roe, Dr. F. H. Scherk, J. H. Wylie,
Miss C. E. Harris; Miss K. Hazel-
wood, Mrs. J. Campbell, Mrs. J. J. Al-
len; librarian, Mrs. A. J. Sanderson;
assistant, Mrs...H. Waller. A good
library is' a. fine thing for any com-
munity. The cost to members is very
small. The interest and support of
everyone should be given to so worthy
a cause. Members of C.G.I.T. are to
be commended for their interest and
practical help.
